Welcome to the University of Sydney, Faculty of Medicine's website for video conferencing, telephone conferencing, and web collaboration.

We also bridge conferences for the following NSW Area Health Services: Northern Sydney, Sydney South West, Sydney West, and Children Hospital Westmead. This partnership exists due to the University's Faculty of Medicine having Clinical Schools in these AHSs.

How to Arrange a Video or Telephone Conference:

1. Choose and book all the rooms. Use the contacts page for sites at the University of Sydney and our NSW AHSs. If you plan to show presentation material during the conference, please telephone us first.

2. Fill in our online booking form.

3. We will respond with a confirmation email, and request any additional information we think necessary. Charging applies for after hours bridging, conferences for external organisations, and dialling ISDN sites.

4. You can check any bookings that have been processed by going to our calendar. To request any changes to current bookings please send an email to avit@med.usyd.edu.au and to the Conference Organiser.

To book a series of conferences we recommend: 1) the Conference Organiser email all the participants and ask them to, within a few days, book their video conferencing room using our contacts and email you which room they have chosen; 2) the Organiser of the meeting then book the video conference using our booking form; 3) at the bottom of the booking form are instructions about how to easily book a series of dates for conferences.
